Stephen Lee obtained his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics and Masters of Accounting degrees from the University of Waterloo and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2005.

He received the Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting program at the University of Toronto, which is a graduate studies program specializing in forensic accounting related to legal proceedings.

Stephen has over eight years experience in financial advisory services practice and his professional concentration has been in determining, verifying and analyzing factual matters by the examination of accounting, operating and financial records; and the interpretation and communication of these financial facts along with calculations and recommendations, primarily in connection with economic damage quantification in insurance and litigation matters.

Stephen has been engaged in various types of engagements including business interruption and property losses, personal injury and wrongful death, patent and trademark infringement, loss of income/profits and due diligence services. His assignments have encompassed a wide range of industries and involve companies, both privately-held and public, in locations across North America.

In addition, he has participated and presented in numerous seminars for insurance companies, adjusters and lawyers regarding various aspects of business interruption loss, personal injury and forensic accounting. He has also published articles in insurance related magazines.
