John Foley to Act as Panelist, Matson, Driscoll & Damico to Host Booth at PLRB/LIRB 2007 Claims Conference

John W. Foley, CPA and Partner in Matson, Driscoll & Damico's New York office, will be a panelist at the Property Loss Research Bureau/Liability Insurance Research Bureau's 2007 Claims Conference. The conference will take place March 18-21 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando.

The session at which John will be speaking covers Builders' Risk Claims and will take place on Monday, March 19 and again on Wednesday, March 21. The panel will:

  • Identify key coverages and issues that arise as a result of builders' risk
  • Explore the best ways to determine scope and cause
  • Discuss how to control costs and mitigate damages
  • Address delay issues, including critical path and its relationship to the loss
  • Determine soft and hard costs and proper application of overhead.
