Work Experience

Matt has been in the practice of investigative and forensic accounting for over eighteen years and is now a Partner with Matson, Driscoll & Damico.  He has analyzed a variety of financial matters and provided expert opinion reports and testimony regarding loss of profits and other economic damages.  His education and professional experience has provided a foundation for quickly understanding and quantifying complex financial losses.

Matt’s work has primarily been involved with insurance claims evaluations and litigation support.  Insurance matters typically include financial analysis and measurement of damages related to loss claims, such as: business income/business interruption losses; extra expense; out-of-sight stock losses; financial condition; fraud; loss of rents; third party liability; lost wages; disability income and other insurance related matters.

Matt enjoys presenting lectures and seminars to enhance the understanding of the forensic accountant’s role and the services an investigative accountant can provide to various entities.  He also incorporates his extensive computer knowledge related to spreadsheet applications, graphic software and database management programs to supplement narrative reports and court presentations.
