Work Experience

Martin is a Partner/Senior Vice President at Matson, Driscoll and Damico’s Winnipeg, Hamilton and Montreal offices.

He has years of experience in forensic accounting, quantifying damages in Canada, the UK, U.S., Middle East and the Caribbean. 

His practice areas include fraud, concealment & misrepresentation, business interruption, business disputes, stock & contents, physical damages, products liability & recall, personal injury and wrongful death, contingency/entertainment insurance claims, catastrophe services and fidelity claims. Martin has also been engaged in numerous appraisal cases and has security clearance at the Enhanced Reliability Level.

Martin has broad experience in agriculture, automotive, cable/broadcasting, chemical manufacturing, restaurants, healthcare, hotels and resorts, mining, oil and gas, pulp and paper, retail and wholesale, telecommunications and construction industries. In addition, he has vast experience in the power generation sector.

He has provided litigation support and expert testimony in fidelity, commercial disputes and business income loss matters before the Supreme Court of Ontario, Superior Court of Quebec and in the Federal Court of Canada.

Martin has conducted numerous seminars and workshops for a variety of industry professionals.

He is a graduate of McMaster University where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
