Michael joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2025. He is a manager at the firm’s Pittsburgh office. Prior to MDD, he was a forensic accountant at a global consulting firm where he specialized in business interruption claims.
Michael’s expertise includes the quantification of economic damages related to business interruption, cyber risks, fraud and investigations, lost profits, commercial disputes, environmental damages and toxic tort.
He has significant experience in the area of catastrophe services, having handled assignments resulting from Hurricanes Sandy, Ida, Helene, Milton, Winter Storm Uri, the Northern California Wildfires, and Tropical Storm Isaias.
His extensive experience spans various industries, including hospitality & tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, sports, entertainment & the arts, construction, and retail.
Michael is proficient in Python, SQL, and machine learning methodologies, with a focus on applying these tools to large-scale data analysis in forensic financial modeling.
He earned a Bachelor of Economics from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.
