Staff Accountant

Job Description

Our Bangkok office has an opening for a Staff Accountant to join our team

Although the nature and purpose of our work vary from case to case, you will typically assist with the analysis of financial and operational data provided by clients or obtained through research to form an opinion as to the historic or likely future performance of a business.

Forensic Accounting is an exciting and niche area of the financial services industry. We are looking for a hardworking, friendly and inquisitive individual to join our team and help us continue to turn industry opportunities into company strengths.

Responsibilies

As a Forensic Accountant, you will assist with modeling the performance of businesses in a “what if” scenario so as to calculate financial losses sustained as well as business valuations and fraud investigations.

You will be exposed to an array of businesses and industries located all over the world and will benefit professionally from working with many experienced and knowledgeable individuals.

Your role will include the following tasks:

• Data entry
• Market research
• Preliminary analysis of financial and performance data
• Verification of data to source documents
• Basic modeling
• Written and verbal communication of findings, tailored to suit the needs of the recipient
• Attending company marketing events

Business travel may be required and occasionally at short notice.

Requirements

1. Degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related subjects
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English
3. Analytical and logical with good attention to detail
4. Good interpersonal skills and capability of working in teams and independently when required
5. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
6. Willingness to accept increasing responsibility as experience grows
7. Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word
8. Additional language skills considered beneficial but not essential
