Job Description

Our Bangkok office has an opening for a Staff Accountant to join our team

Although the nature and purpose of our work vary from case to case, you will typically assist with the analysis of financial and operational data provided by clients or obtained through research to form an opinion as to the historic or likely future performance of a business.

You will have opportunities to meet and attend functions with our primary clients, including insurers, loss adjuster and insurance broker who generally work with us on the loss quantification cases as well as lawyers from well-known law firms who work with us on litigation and investigation cases to enhance your personal social skills and develop long-term relationships.

You will also be responsible for administrative work on day-to-day operations, including billing and invoicing, cheque issuance, document posting, WIP AR follow-up, etc.

On-the-job training will be provided by experienced senior accountants once you are on board.

Career Aspirations

Training will be provided for a globally recognised accounting qualification, along with job-specific training and mentoring by experienced accounting professionals. Once qualified, many of our senior accountants pursue secondary qualifications in specialist areas such as fraud investigation or business valuation and the role is best suited to individuals with long-term career aspirations.

  • Strong numeracy, communication and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Capability of working in teams and independently when required
  • Capability of working under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Willingness to accept increasing responsibility and take on new challenges as experience grows.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related subjects
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • 0 to 3 years of work experience – Fresh graduates are welcome!
