David joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Washington, D.C. office in 2026, where he serves as a Managing Director focused on fraud investigations, compliance, and dispute advisory services.
Before joining MDD, David built a distinguished career, over 35 years, as a forensic accountant, providing investigative, risk management, and dispute advisory services to private- and public–sector clients around the world. He has held senior positions at several Big Four accounting, tax, and advisory firms, where he worked on significant domestic and cross borders investigations, compliance matters, and monitorships.
David has also supported U.S. law enforcement and regulatory agencies on matters involving alleged fraud, waste, misconduct, and the misappropriation of public and private funds. Many of these matters resulted in the criminal prosecution of high-profile U.S. citizens.
David focuses on utilizing forensic accounting, data analytics and AI, corporate intelligence, and other tools to assist clients and their counsel in mitigating legal and regulatory risks. His industry experience spans many industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, energy, construction, and automotive.
David has delivered training and presentations on investigations, anti–bribery and corruption, compliance, and forensic accounting to the FBI, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and Fortune 100 companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Wesleyan University and a Master’s in Public Accounting from the University of Hartford.
