About
PrintJonathan Sheppard joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2026. He is a Manager at the firm’s Philadelphia/Cherry Hill office. Prior to joining MDD, Jonathan was an audit and assurance professional specializing in construction accounting and financial reporting. He led audit, review, and compilation engagements and advised clients on compliance and internal control matters across the construction, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, not-for-profit, and governmental sectors, including Single Audits and Yellow Book audits involving governmental compliance and reporting requirements.
Jonathan applies his audit and assurance background to forensic accounting matters involving surety and fidelity claims. His experience includes analyzing financial records, assessing accounting and reporting issues, evaluating documentation and internal control environments, and supporting the quantification of economic damages in surety bond and related fidelity matters.
Jonathan’s industry experience includes construction, government, healthcare, real estate, not-for-profit and manufacturing. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Ursinus College.
