Chris has 29 years of forensic and investigative accounting experience, focusing on complex commercial disputes, business valuation and economic damages. He is a Partner at the firm’s St. Louis office and is a Team Leader of MDD’s Business Valuation Group.
Chris has been involved in hundreds of engagements across a wide range of industries in the U.S., evaluating and quantifying economic damages. He specializes in matters related to business disputes, business valuation, commercial damages, lost profits, builders’ risk & soft costs, fidelity, personal injury & wrongful death, products liability and recall, fraud & investigations and intellectual property damages.
He has provided expert witness testimony in numerous cases involving breach of contract, business valuation, lost profits, benefit of the bargain disputes, damage claims and construction accounting. He has assisted legal counsel in every phase of the litigation process from pre-litigation settlement discussions through trial testimony.
He was engaged to assist in the U.S. government’s mandated dealership termination arbitrations in 2010 and has also served as the forensic accounting expert on dozens of complex cases involving the financial condition and economic viability of dealers around the Midwest.
He has also conducted seminars on topics related to business valuation, lost profits, trade secrets, construction delay damages, personal injury, intellectual property damages, and other forensic accounting topics. In 2014, Chris was a panel speaker at the London Power Forum on complex construction delay damages.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
