MDD is pleased to announce that John Goldwater has joined MDD, a Davies Company, as a Managing Director to lead our new global Quantitative and Analytics practice. He brings nearly 25 years of experience supporting insurers, counsel, and others in handling and resolving claims related to long-tail toxic tort and other complex claims matters. John has a deep understanding of the issues most important to his clients and is able to anticipate their needs in helping them determine exposure and settlement alternatives. He has extensive experience building ground-up data sets and developing multi-scenario, dynamic models from this data. In addition, John provides due diligence through claim audits and reconciliation exercises.
Decision making tools, long-tail claim allocations, large data sets, and high-profile reporting solutions developed by John and his team are regularly relied upon by clients in claim matters involving Asbestos, Hazardous Waste, Sexual Abuse and Molestation, Opioids, Concussive Injuries, PFAS/AFFF (BI and PD), Construction Defect, Lead, Benzene, Diacetyl, Medical Devices, Trademark/Trade Dress disputes, Pharmaceuticals, and many other types of cases.
John has been retained as an expert witness and testified through deposition or trial on numerous occasions.
