Taipei, Taiwan – 4 November 2025 – MDD, the leading international forensic accounting firm, has announced the opening of its Taiwan office, which becomes its eighth location in Asia Pacific. This strategic move reflects the firms’ growing footprint in the region, driven by the increase in claims activity in Taiwan. The new presence will enhance MDD’s ability to deliver expert forensic accounting services to clients, within the Taiwanese insurance and litigation markets.
Rachel Cai, Director, will lead the Taiwan office. Since joining MDD in 2008, Rachel has held key positions in the organisation’s Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong locations, bringing extensive regional expertise to her leadership. Rachel’s experience in quantifying economic damages and managing complex claims has been instrumental in supporting major loss events and catastrophe responses throughout Taiwan – work which will continue in her new position.
