MDD is pleased to announce that Handong Lee has been promoted to Partner.
Since joining the firm in 2012, he has played a pivotal role in building and leading the Seoul office, consistently demonstrating exceptional technical expertise and leadership.
Throughout his career, Handong has managed large and complex losses across Korea and other countries in Asia, including insurance claims and commercial disputes exceeding USD 400 million. His forensic accounting work spans business interruption, lost profits, extra expenses, liability losses, stock losses, fraud investigations, and damage quantification in international arbitration. He has also contributed to major catastrophe‑related assignments and supported matters involving valuation, fund tracing, and financial analysis.
Handong’s experience covers a wide range of industries—from electronics and automotive to oil & gas, shipbuilding, hospitality, and financial institutions. He is also a respected and energetic presenter, having delivered numerous seminars and workshops for insurance and legal professionals in Seoul and Hong Kong.
