Aaron Isch

Aaron joined MDD Forensic Accountants Boston office in 2014. He is a manager at the firm.

Aaron has worked on assignments across most of our practice areas concentrating on business interruption, cyber risks, business disputes & shareholder disputes, business valuation, personal injury & wrongful death, lost profits, and post-acquisition disputes. He is also actively involved in the catastrophe services area, quantifying economic damages resulting from natural disasters, including hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria & Ida, California Wildfires, and the 2021 freeze in Texas.

His industry experience includes financial services, food services, healthcare, hospitality & tourism, manufacturing, professional services, and retail.

Aaron provides litigation support services to clients and has given expert witness testimony at depositions.

He has presented seminars on business interruption and liability losses.

Aaron recently completed a six-month secondment as a Claims Manager within Beazley’s Cyber and Technology group.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Master of Business Administration from Salve Regina University.

Jason Roth

Jason joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2021 and is Manager in the firm’s Atlanta office.

His expertise focuses on matters related to business valuations, business disputes & shareholder disputes, business interruption, divorce & marital disputes, lost profits and personal injury & wrongful death.

He has also worked across a range of sectors including construction, financial services, hospitality & tourism, maritime and healthcare.

Jason graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Finance & Jewish Studies as well as a Masters in Accounting.

Ryan Blais

Ryan joined MDD Forensic Accountants Boston office in 1999. He is a Senior Manager at the firm.

Ryan’s expertise includes the quantification of economic damages related to business interruption, extra expense/increased costs, business valuations, divorce & marital disputes, fidelity claims, lost profits, personal injury & wrongful death, fraud and investigations, stock and content losses and subrogation.

He has provided testimony in depositions, arbitrations and hearings.

Ryan has significant experience involving retail and wholesale, restaurants, professional services, hotels & resorts, manufacturing, medical and dental practices, food manufacturing, power generation and distribution, pulp & paper and transportation.

He has been involved in catastrophe losses related to 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Irene, Super Storm Sandy, Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Florence.

Ryan graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Todd Jameson

Todd joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 2007. He is a Manager in the firm’s Orlando office.

As an experienced forensic accounting professional, Todd performs economic damage quantification in areas such as business interruption, extra expenses/increased costs, lost profits, fidelity claims, physical damages, stock & content loss, and fraud & investigations. In addition, he has extensive experience in the catastrophe services area, having worked on losses resulting from hurricane’s Irma, Harvey,  Matthew and Michael.

Todd has worked on assignments that have ranged from $500 to in excess of $20 million. His industry experience has spanned a wide range of sectors including food services, manufacturing, retail, automotive, sports, entertainment & the arts, hospitality & tourism, and apartment complexes.

Todd currently serves as Treasurer for The Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention. He is also a finance committee member at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

Todd is a graduate of Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance.

James Harrington

Jim joined MDD’s Detroit office in 2018 as a Senior Manager. He is now a Director at the firm.

He has over 20 years of experience providing expert damages and causation analysis. He has provided expert analysis in matters related to intellectual property disputes, licensing disputes, fraud investigations, mutual fund analysis and securities disputes, claims for increased costs, business interruption loss, business valuation, accounting investigations, breach of contract and other commercial disputes.

Jim has extensive experience on intellectual property assignments including patent infringement matters, trademark infringement, trade secrets and other intellectual property claims involving lost profits, price erosion, reasonable royalty, pre-judgment and post judgment interest calculations.

He has provided expert testimony in matters pending in state court, federal court and arbitration forums.

Jim brings considerable expertise across several industries, including agriculture, automotive, chemicals, computers, construction, consumer products, electronics, food service, manufacturingretail, securities, software, surgical/medical equipment and telecommunications.

Jim graduated with Honors from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting degree.

Jerome McDonagh

Jerome has over 10 years of experience in Forensic Accounting.  He joined MDD in 2015 and is Director of their Litigation Support Services in Hong Kong.

He focuses on matters related to business valuationbusiness disputesloss of profits and fraud & investigations. He has extensive experience in litigation support and has acted as an expert witness in Hong Kong and UK court proceedings.

In business valuations, Jerome has advised clients and acted as an expert witness in a variety of assignments including shareholder disputes, divorce proceedings, and valuations of start-ups and mature businesses.  The assignments relate to parties from various jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Singapore, PRC, Korea, Cayman Islands and United Kingdom.

Jerome has been involved in numerous damage quantification matters including loss of profits, post-M&A breaches of warranties and aborted contract claims.

Jerome’s loss of profit experience extends to catastrophe services experience from his involvement in assignments related to the Tianjin explosions in 2015 and Typhoon Hato in 2017.

His expertise spans a wide range of industries including financial servicesmanufacturing, textiles & apparel, IT, property, shipping & freight, telecommunications, casino and gaming.

Jerome is the creator of the MDD Duxbury Calculator, an online, subscription-based calculator designed to enable Duxbury calculations to be completed quickly and cost-effectively.  The Duxbury Calculator can be accessed here.

He has presented various seminars and workshops on business valuation, financial statement fraud, losses from aborted contracts and Duxbury calculations.

Fluent in Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin, Jerome graduated from Manchester University (UK) with a Bachelor of Economic Science degree and the University of London (UK) with a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy.  He holds various professional qualifications and affiliations including:

Conrad Biegel

Conrad began his career at MDD Forensic Accountants’ Orlando office in 2011. He relocated to his home state of Colorado in 2015 to assist with building the firm’s newly-opened Denver office. Since then, he has been instrumental in the office’s management and business development initiatives. Presently he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in Colorado, and a licensed Certified Valuation Analyst (“CVA”).

Conrad’s practice focuses on accounting for financial and economic damages and opportunities in conjunction with litigation, business transactions, arbitration, appraisal, subrogation, and commercial, cyber and automobile insurance. He has been involved in numerous engagements related to litigation support and testimony, business valuations/mergers and acquisitions, business interruption, financial condition analyses and modeling, lost profits, extra expenses/increased  costs, liability losses, fidelity claims/employee dishonesty, major construction costs or delays, tracing of funds and assets, business disputes, divorce and marital disputes and personal injury/wrongful death.

He also has significant catastrophe services experience as a result of his work on assignments resulting from hailstorms, wildfires, tornados and micro-bursts, floods, hurricanes, mass shootings and pandemic diseases.

He has worked with law firms, insurance carriers and companies of all sizes across a wide range of industries that include, but are not limited to, agriculture, housing/real estate, automotive, entertainment and recreation, manufacturing, government, education, transportation, retail, utilities, mininghospitality, and construction.

Conrad has played an integral role in the analysis and quantification of economic damages that range from $1,000 to more than $80 million on projects originating in North America, South America and Asia.

He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and the University of Central Florida with a Master of Accounting degree.

Nattakarn Prasitsumrit

Nattakarn joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Singapore office in 2013 as a Senior Accountant. She is now a Senior Manager at the firm’s Singapore office.

Fluent in Thai, English, Mandarin and Japanese, Nattakarn has worked on various economic damage quantification cases across Asia, Africa and Europe. Her expertise includes advanced loss of profits/delay in start-up, business interruptionbusiness valuation, catastrophe services, contingent BI & extra expenses, and stock & contents.  In addition, she has provided litigation accounting services to MDD clients and has been active in catastrophe services, quantifying damages that occurred as a result of the 2011 Thailand Floods.

Nattakarn has been engaged on numerous assignments in the automotivemanufacturinghotels and resorts and telecommunications sectors. She has extensive experience in the Energy sector which includes oil & gaspower generation and distribution and mining & refining.

She has presented seminars and training sessions to industry professionals on various topics including business interruption, power generation losses and refinery & petrochemical losses.

Nattakarn received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting (First Class Honors) from the Chulalongkorn Business School in Thailand. She also spent one semester at Japan’s Akita International University in the Global Business Faculty. Nattakarn is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

Jason Uloswceh

Jason began his career at MDD Forensic Accountants’ Chicago office in 1998. He is currently a Partner at the firm.

Jason specializes in the measurement of economic damages related to business interruption, lost profits, construction defects & claims, products liability & recall and business disputes. He also has significant experience in the area of catastrophe services, having worked on assignments resulting from 9/11, the Gulf Coast hurricanes and more recently, worldwide earthquakes and flooding.

Jason has experience in a number of industries, including manufacturing, oil & gaspower generation, food processing and agribusiness.

He is regularly engaged to provide litigation support services and expert witness testimony.

Jason has conducted numerous seminars and training sessions on various forensic accounting topics.

He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.  

Lisa Morris

Lisa joined MDD in 1998. In 2003, she left to work for The Hartford, assisting in the start of their internal forensic accounting program and gaining valuable knowledge of the adjustment process from an insurance company perspective. In 2008, she returned to MDD Forensic Accountant’s San Francisco office and she is now a Partner at the firm.

A seasoned forensic accounting professional, Lisa has worked on assignments involving lost profits, cyber risks, business interruption, builders’ risk and soft costs, business valuations, fraud & investigations, fidelity claims, personal injury & wrongful death, physical damages and product liability & recall.

She has provided litigation support related to commercial disputes and has been recognized as an expert witness in various courts and arbitrations on the West Coast.

Lisa graduated from California State University – Hayward with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting.

Reinhard Krestel

Reinhard joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Chicago office in 2000. He is a Partner at the firm.

Reinhard’s practice concentrates on economic damage quantification and accounting investigations related to lost profits, business interruption, physical damages, construction defects & claims, products liability & recall, shareholder disputes and personal injury, wrongful death & wrongful termination matters. Additionally, he has extensive experience in the area of catastrophe services, earned while assessing the economic damages resulting from 9/11, the Gulf Coast hurricanes and the earthquakes and flooding in Japan and Thailand.

Reinhard has worked on assignments of all sizes around the world, in industries such as automotive, chemical production, steel manufacturing, healthcare, hotel, agribusiness, food processing, professional services and retail and wholesale.

He is regularly engaged to provide litigation support and expert witness testimony.

Paul Isaac

Paul is a Partner with MDD Forensic Accountants in London, England.  He joined the London office in 1999, moving to Asia in 2004 to establish the firm’s Singapore office before returning to MDD London three years later.

Paul has extensive experience in litigation support services, providing witness testimony at the High Court and at international arbitration.  He is a member of the Academy of Experts (MAE) and Expert Witness Institute (MEWI) and has prepared numerous expert reports on a wide range of insurance-related matters and commercial disputes ranging from a few hundred thousand pounds to those in excess of £150 million.

Paul’s forensic accounting practice focuses on lost profits, increased costs of working and stock & contents matters, and he has also dealt with product recall/liability, and business valuation matters.  He heads up the UK Cyber practise area and has dealt with a wide range of industries including automotive, chemicals, biofuels, publishing, hotels, retail, manufacturing, professional services, recycling, waste to energy, luxury goods, pulp and paper, glass manufacture and metals.

Paul is MDD’s Global Catastrophe Coordinator, responsible for delivering MDD’s service delivery to our clients in CAT situations around the world.  He has significant hands-on experience in the catastrophe service areas, handling claims arising from local flooding/wildfire catastrophes to high-profile events including the 2004 Tsunami, 2007 UK floods, 2011 Thai floods, Tohoku Earthquake/Tsunami, 2015 Tianjin explosion, Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria in 2017, Hurricane Dorian in 2019, COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Ida in 2021.

Paul has conducted seminars and training sessions in a number of countries on various technical forensic accounting topics.  Paul is a former President of the London Business Interruption Association, responsible for educating the UK market in all things BI.  He is also a French speaker and oversees the firm’s office and growing forensic accounting practice in France.

He graduated from Kingston University in England with a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance and Aston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Modern Languages (French).

Eric Ficken

Eric joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ St. Louis office in 1993. He is a Partner at the firm.

Eric is a highly trained forensic accounting professional and has years of experience in litigation support services performing business valuation and quantifying economic damages related to business disputes, personal injury & wrongful death and construction litigation.  He has provided expert witness testimony in state courts, mediations and arbitrations.

Eric has years of experience in the calculation of business interruption, lost profits, physical damages, fraud and investigations, extra expenses and stock & contents matters.

In addition, he has worked in the catastrophe services area, assisting in the measurement of damages that occurred as a result of 9/11, Hurricanes Katrina, Charley and Rita and various floods.

Eric has been engaged on assignments across a wide range of businesses and industries including base and precious metal mining, steel and aluminum manufacturing, hotels and resorts, retail and wholesale, commercial rental properties, construction and cement manufacturing.

He has conducted seminars for industry professionals on basic accounting principles, business valuation and loss of income.

Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis.

Jonathan Ducey

Jon joined MDD’s Boston office in 1997. In 2003, he moved to open the firm’s office in Portland, Maine. He is a Partner at this location.

Jon has been involved in hundreds of engagements requiring the evaluation and quantification of economic damages, including business interruption and physical damages. He is frequently hired on fidelity claims and matters involving fraud and investigations.

Jon has also been retained by both Plaintiffs and Defendants to evaluate lost earnings capacity, lost profits, lost business value, extra expenses/increased costs, and other economic losses resulting from business disputes, personal injury & wrongful death, physical damages, product liability & recall, and subrogation.

Jon has been engaged as an expert witness for cases in both Federal and State courts.  He has provided testimony in Federal Court and State Superior Courts in Maine and Pennsylvania along with depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.

He has worked on assignments in the manufacturing, mercantile, hotel, hospitality, automotive, construction, pulp and paper, real estate, and power generation industries.

Jon has presented numerous seminars on business interruption losses, reported insurance values, fidelity claims, personal injury & wrongful death damages, and other forensic accounting topics.

He is a Director on the Boards of the Scarborough Education Foundation and Scarborough Soccer Club.  Jon has been a volunteer income tax preparer with the United Way of Greater Portland.

Jon graduated from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Matthew Adrian

Matt joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 1988. He is a Senior Manager at the firm’s Boston office.

Matt specializes in the quantification of economic damage for matters related to lost profits, stock & contents, products liability & recall and fidelity claims. He has also been involved in numerous IOLTA audits.

Matt has worked on assignments throughout the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean.

He has offered expert testimony in court, arbitration, appraisal and reference proceedings. In addition, he has been appointed as both an Appraiser and Referee to assist parties in resolving disputes.

Matt is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Glenn Ricciardelli

Glenn joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Boston office in 1979. He became a Partner at the firm in 1986.

Glenn has been involved in over 2,000 economic damage quantification, valuation and litigation engagements in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. He has worked on assessments ranging from $5,000 to $750 million. 

Glenn has assisted publicly-held companies and privately-owned businesses of all sizes. His practice areas include business interruption, lost profits, marital disputesstock & contents, builder’s risk & soft costs, products liability & recall, employee dishonesty / fidelity claims, fraud & financial condition, construction, personal injury, wrongful death & wrongful termination and business valuation.

Glenn has provided expert witness testimony in U.S. Federal court as well state courts in Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin. He has also been retained as a referee, appraiser or umpire on ADR and arbitration cases.

He has conducted seminars on a wide range of forensic accounting topics for clients.

Glenn is a former Director of the Needham Bank and a member of its finance and audit committees. He is also Treasurer and Director of Birthday Wishes Inc., a non-profit organization that provides birthday parties to homeless children in shelters in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York, as well as Junior Achievement of Northern New England, which provides financial literacy educational programs and job skills to young people.

Glenn graduated with distinction from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Paul McGowan

Paul is a Partner in the Boston office of Matson, Driscoll & Damico, LLP and also serves as the Global Managing Partner of MDD International Limited.

For more than 30 years, Paul has actively provided consulting and litigation support services to his clients. A seasoned forensic accounting professional, he applies his knowledge and technical skills to assist his clients.

Special assets divisions of banking and lending institutions often trust Paul to help them achieve quick and effective resolutions to matters involving their debtors. He has aided these organizations in the tracing of the debtor’s use of funds under certain credit facilities and has helped them evaluate the debtor’s ability to meet their obligations. 

Paul has offered expert testimony in both state and federal courts throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York. 

In addition, he has testified in reference, arbitration and mediation proceedings and has been appointed as both an appraiser and referee to assist parties in resolving their disputes.

Paul graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. 

Daniel Markowicz

Dan has been at MDD Forensic Accountants for over 30 years. His first eleven years were spent in the firm’s Chicago office and he has managed the Los Angeles location since 1995.

Dan is skilled at analyzing financial and operating data to help determine and verify economic losses. During his career, he has provided economic damage quantification assessments for a wide range of clients on matters relating to stock & contents, construction defects & claims, fraud, product liability and recall, fidelity claims, personal injury, wrongful death & wrongful termination. 

Throughout his career, Dan has provided litigation support offering his expertise during the discovery process and the development of expert reports. In addition, he has given expert witness testimony during depositions and proceedings in various state courts.

Dan is a frequent presenter – at both in-house and industry events – on the subjects of accounting for commercial property losses and loss of income.

Dan is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Peter Karutz

Peter joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 1983. Ten years later, he became a Partner and currently works out of the St. Louis office. Peter is also the Team Leader of MDD’s Cyber Practice Group.

He has extensive experience quantifying economic damages for arbitrations and contractual disputes and has been qualified to serve as an expert witness in Federal courts in Missouri and Kansas. He has also assisted with depositions and discoveries in Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Illinois, North Dakota, Minnesota and Missouri.

He specializes in matters related to lost profits, business interruption, physical damages, oil & gas, cyber risks, power generation, mining, stock & contents, catastrophe services and fraud.

Peter has worked on numerous projects both in the U.S. and abroad. His experience spans a wide range of industries including automotive, retail, grain processing and transportation, banking, ethanol, synthetic gas, biomass plants, fisheries, aerospace manufacturing, hotels and hospitality and entertainment

With a working knowledge of Spanish, he assisted in the measurement of damages that occurred as a result of the 2010 Chile earthquakes. Additionally, he assisted in the quantification, verification and analysis of damages that resulted from 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and the government closure of auto dealerships.

Peter has spoken to groups such as the American Bar Association, Lloyd’s of London Syndicates and Xchanging on forensic accounting topics such as Cyber Fraud. 

He serves on the Board of Directors of a number of charities and not-for-profit organizations and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Knights of Peter Claver. Peter is also president of the St. Louis chapter of Legatus.

He is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Kevin Flaherty

Kevin joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 1988 and is a Partner at the firm’s Boston office.

A specialist in the evaluation and quantification of economic damages, Kevin has worked on assignments of all sizes – from claims of $5,000 to those in excess of $800 million. 

Over the years, Kevin has focused on a variety of matters involving shareholder disputes, divorce, business valuations, Ponzi and embezzlement matters. His wide-ranging industry experience focuses on engagements involving the evaluation and quantification of damages with a focus on lost profits and damaged property. Notably, he was retained to evaluate construction damages related to the “Big Dig” in Boston and the events surrounding 9/11, including the collapse of World Trade Center 7.

Kevin has been retained as a consultant on litigation matters and has also qualified as an expert witness in both state and Federal courts and is also the head of its U.S. litigation services group.

Kevin graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Jack Flaherty

Jack joined MDD Forensic Accountants in 1990. He is currently a Partner at the firm’s Hartford office.

Jack has quantified economic damages for claims of all sizes – from those well in excess of $10 million to losses amounting to under $1 million. 

He specializes in a wide range of practice areas including lost profits, construction defects & claims, builders’ risk & soft costs, stock & contents, fraud, concealment & misrepresentation, products liability & recallpersonal injury & wrongful death and marital dissolution.

Jack has served as an expert witness and has provided litigation support services for matters related to business income, inventory value, personal earnings, disputed commissions and legal malpractice.

He has presented seminars on topics such as fraud, business income, extra expense and inventory losses.

Jack is a graduate of Babson College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree.

David Elmore, Jr

David began his career in 1993 in the Charlotte office of MDD Forensic Accountants. In 1999, he opened the firm’s Washington, DC office where he is now a Partner.

Dave has a wealth of experience quantifying economic damages. His areas of concentration include business interruption, extra expenses/increased costs, physical damages, fraud and investigations, product liability & recall, stock & contents and construction defects & claims.

He has experience across a broad range of industries such as automotive, manufacturing, chemical production, software development, food service, agriculture, healthcare, general contracting, construction, pulp and paper, textiles, hospitals, hotels, housing, government and steel.

Dave has been engaged on numerous litigation-related assignments, including class actions and an automotive dealership termination arbitration as set forth by U.S. Congress. He has analyzed transcripts; prepared inquiries of witnesses under oath and expert reports, and assisted with all aspects of discovery including the preparation of document responses and document requests. He is also available to provide expert witness testimony when needed.

Dave has spoken at various American Bar Association TIPS conferences and U.S. law events. He has also conducted seminars for legal and insurance professionals on business interruption and other forensic accounting topics.

Dave is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Dusty Bredeson

Dusty joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Atlanta office in 1985. In 1988, he relocated to Charlotte where he helped build the firm’s local office. In 2003 he became a partner at that location.

A forensic accountant for over 30 years, Dusty specializes in the quantification of economic damages in the following practice areas: lost profitsbusiness interruption, extra expenses, fidelity claims, physical damages, builder’s risk, stock & contents and liability claims

He is also experienced in providing catastrophe loss services following natural disasters.

Dusty has worked on engagements across a wide range of industries such as chemical manufacturing, hospitals, hotels, rental property, pharmaceuticals, textiles, furniture, retail and wholesale and professional services.

He has years of experience providing litigation support services and has rendered expert witness testimony at depositions and in court.

He is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
